How can I verify the success of a local backup in BUSY?

To confirm that your backups are successful, you can view the Log Details in BUSY Agent. This will show you the status, date, time,etc of each backup. You can also check the backup files on your local drive. They should be in the form of DATA and DISK1 in folder.

How do I shut down the software and backup the data?

To shut down software and take backup of company , follow the steps below: 
Step 1: After closing company go to backup data
Step 2: Select company then choose path for taking data
Step 3: Press ok
Step 4: After taking backup click in exit BUSY then BUSY will be closed

How can I take a backup before making changes in BUSY?

Before making any changes,You can take backup from the Below Steps :
Step 1: Click on Company Menu
Step 2: Then Backup Data
Step 3: Select the company for data backup
Step 4: Mention the User and Password
Step 5: Select Financial Year and specify the backup folder path.

Is customer data encrypted and secured in your software?

If you have access database then your data is secure in your system harddisk
And if you are using sql database then your data is secure in your SQL server ,
but still for a security purpose we will still recommend you to take the backup of your data on daily basis

How to back up data in BUSY before the license expires?

For back up data in BUSY Software, you can follow these steps: 
1. open BUSY then Go in company menu
2. Then Backup Data
3. Then Select Company
4. Mention user name and password of company
5. specify path where you want take backup

To overwrite data in the software, please follow below steps :
Restore Data :
Step 1: Go to Company Menu
Step 2: And select Restore Data option
Step 3: and then data restoration window Specify the backup folder path and click on the ok button.
Step 4: Restore it with Overwrite No option.

How frequently should I take backup in BUSY?

It is recommended to take backups of your data in BUSY on a regular basis. The frequency of backups depends on the volume and importance of your data. It is generally advised to take backups at least once a day or whenever there are significant changes to your data.

How can I change the daily backup path?

To change the backup path in BUSY, follow these steps: 
Step 1: Go to Administration menu
Step 2: Click on Configuration option
Step 3: Select Backup Configuration tab
Step 4: Here you can specify the new folder path
Step 5: Click on the save button to Save the changes.
