To take manual backup of a particular company's data, please follow below steps :
Step 1:- Go to company menu
Step 2:- Backup data
Step 3:- Mention path for Backup.
Step 4:- Click ok and start the process.
How frequently should I back up my accounting data?
It is recommended to back up your BUSY data regularly at least once in a day. Furthermore can use "BUSY Agent" which allow you to take auto backup on your Local Drive & Google Drive.
How frequently should I take backup of BUSY data?
It is advisable to backup your data regularly on a daily basis when you close your company. You can also use the BUSY Agent , which takes automatic backup in your local and Google Drive.
How can i change the BUSY data directory?
To change the data directory in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY, click on on company menu
Step 2: Select the set data directory, specify the path for data directory and click on ok tab.
Does BUSY allow incremental vs full backups?
Yes, you can take a backup on the drive where the data backup already exists. During the backup process, a popup will appear asking to overwrite the existing backup. You can proceed by selecting Yes.
I am unable to access my data due to system crash/shutdown. What should I do?
If system crash/shutdown then restart system and start software check . If still not able to check data restore data from data backup if still not able to check data. Contact to BUSY Support System
What steps should I take if my entire company database becomes inaccessible or corrupted?
When company showing error while opening follow these steps:
Step 1: Take backup of your company.
Step 2: Go to Reindex database.
Open company if still facing same issue then old backup restore Old data on your system.
How do I ensure that the latest data is coming in my BUSY company?
To ensure that the latest data is coming in your BUSY system, you can check the last sale voucher from the sale list or can view the voucher statistics from checklist option under display menu.
I am unable to take backup in pen drive. what should i do?
If you are unable to take backup in pendrive from BUSY, then you can try to take backup in system drive and check if it is working or not might be issue in your pendrive.
I am getting an invalid error while trying to take a backup. What is causing this and how can I resolve it?
You will get Invalid Drive for backup error when try to take backup due to you have choose wrong backup path. To fix it you have to select the correct backup path then check.
