To track sale challan, purchase challan, and challan reversal in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration and then click on configuration.
Step 2: Select features and options and go to inventory tab.
Step 3: Enable the Sale/Purchase Challan feature.
Step 4: Then, while entering the transaction, specify the type of challan (sale challan, purchase challan, or challan reversal) and whether it should be tracked with the party or not.
Step 5: Go to display and check challan processing report.
How do I configure multiple price levels for items in BUSY?
To configure and create multiple price levels for items in BUSY, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to - Administration then Configuration then Features & Options: Inventory: Item Pricing mode in Vouchers: multi-price list for items
Step 2: Choose the configuration item-wise or party-wise
Step 3: Create multiple prices for the items
Step 4: Tag the price category for the party
Step 5: The transaction will automatically calculate the price based on the selected price category. If we want, we can change it.
I transferred stock from one branch to another but the valuation is still showing the old purchase rate, not the updated one. Why?
In BUSY, the stock valuation will calulate as the method for valuation selected in inventory tab. If the valuation showing as per the old purchase rate then you must selected the Last purchase method for stock valuation. To change or update the correct valuation method, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration then click on configuration menu
Step 2: Choose the features and option then select inventory tab
Step 3: Now, update the stock valuation method as per requirement and save the configuration.
The tax on MRP calculation is incorrect. How should I check the percentage or base amount configuration in the software?
To check Tax on MRP calculation , you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration then masters and select tax category.
Step 2: Click on modify then select tax category
Step 2: In tax category enable tax on mrp.
Step 3: Then check percentage of mrp in which tax will be calculated.
Step 4: Mention the correct percentage for caculating tax on MRP.
By following these steps, you can o check Tax on MRP calculation for GST calculation in BUSY .
Is it possible to customize the standard invoice format of BUSY Accounting Software to include my drug license number?
There is no need for any customization If you are using a standard format and want to update the Drug number on it
Below are the steps to update it:-
Step 1: Go to the Administration menu.
Step 2: Then Click on the Feature and Options tab.
Step 3: Afterwards select Inventory tab.
Step 4: Then from there you have to Enable the Drug License number feature and update your Drug License number there.
Step 5: The Drug license number will automatically update in standard format.
Unable to convert the Unit from bags to pieces seems wrong. How do I correct this?
If you want to convert your Unit from bags to pieces below are the steps to do it:-
Step1: Navigate to Administration menu.
Step2: Then click on Master option.
Step3: Click on Item option then click on Modify option and define the item name in which want to update Unit.
Step4: Click on Check Unit Change option.
Step5: A window of "Unit changed allowed" will appear.
Step6: Then you have to click ok button then can update Unit name from there.
It'll automatically updated in vouchers as well.
Can I change item in the voucher with skip items default Price during Voucher Modification?
Yes, you can change an item in voucher with skip items default Price during Voucher Modification in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration menu then select Configuration option.
Step 2: Select Feature/Options and then click on Inventory option.
Step 3: Enable the Skip Items Default Price during Voucher Modification option in Inventory tab then save the changes.
Step 4: Change the item in the voucher as per your requirement. You do not need to change the price since previous price is retained.
Can you help me locate the index in BUSY to fix the auto-sale price issue?
If you index in BUSY, to fix the auto-sale price issue, you need to set your pricing mode. For this, you need to follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration, then select Configuration, then select Features & Options, then select the Invetory option.
Step 2: In the inventory window, you will see the option of iterative pricing mode in vouchers. Here you can find the multiple option of pricing.
Step 3: You can fix the auto-sale price issue in this window.
Can you explain how to turn on the option of alternate unit?
To turn on the option of alternate unit in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and then click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features and Options and then click on Inventory tab and enable the alternate unit option.
Step 3: Then, open the Item Master and mention the Main Unit and Alt Unit with Conversion Factor and Conversion Type.
Note that if an item is already used in a voucher, the alternate unit cannot be changed.

To manage your inventory and stock valuation in BUSY you can follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu
Step 2: Then click on configuration option
Step 3: Then click on features and option button
Step 4: Then go to inventory tab and select stock valuation method such as FIFO,weighted average etc as per your requirements and save it
