How to find list of current stock inventory
To find the list of inventory with current stock you can follow the steps
1 Go to display menu and click to stock status
2 Click on closing stock alphabetical then click to balance only
3 then click on all mc and all items set the closing date and enable
show zero stock items and ok
I took a backup of my data, how can I check the opening and closing balances of an item from the backup?
To check the opening and closing balances of an item from a backup in BUSY, you can restore the backup and then access the stock status detailed report by following below steps:
Step 1: Go to display option then select stock status.
Step 2: Then select closing stock alphabetical detailed option to view the opening and closing stock.
Why doesnt quantity go to zero when I purchase enough to cover negative balance in BUSY
If your stock qrantity is still negative ispite of purchase, then first check negative quantity in stock report, then enter purchase transaction for the same quantity which is showing negative
Like if you have -5 Quantity in stock report and if you will enter purchase transaction of the same 5 quantity, then stock will be zero
Why am I unable to see the stock reports option in my BUSY?
When you are unable to view the stock reports, then pls follow the below steps :
Step 1: Make sure that you have rights to access the stock report.
Step 2: Multi godown inventory feature should be enable from the inventory tab under configuration, features and options then stock status report will show in display menu.

You enter your inventory voucher like : sale/purchase/ stock journal voucher etc properly in BUSY then BUSY provide you a proper stock which all are available in display menu you can check stock staus report / inventory through reports you can track your inventory in BUSY.
How can I check stock status Report?
For open stock status Report follow these steps:
step 1: Go in Display then go in stock status
step 2: Go in closing stock alphabetical
step 3: Click on balance only then click on all item
step 4: Mention Report date and open Report
step 5: In this report show current stock of item and detail report of item
I am unable to see the stock status report option in display menu what could be the reason?
There could be a several reasons if the stock status report option is not showing in the display menu:
1. If do not maintain stock balance option is set as in all items from the inventory tab
2. If you are logged in the company with subuser and you dont have a specific rights to view it
The stock report is very long can I generate it for only a specific item group?
Yes, you can generate the stock report for a specific item group by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to the display menu and then click on Stock Status.
Step 2: Then click on Closing Stock-Grouped. After that, select your group of items.
Step 3: Select the date range and press F2. Then, see the report item group-wise.
