How can I track my inventory and create purchase orders in BUSY

 If you want to track inventory then you can monitor your inventory and stock levels by using various report options available under the Display menu. You can view the stock status report, inventory books, and inventory summaries for any item, group, or category.
To create Purchase Order in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Inventory tab.
Step 3: Here, you will find an option called "Enable Order Processingclick on the check box to turn it on and save.
Step 4: Now, go to the Transaction menu and select Purchase Order.
Step 5: Click on Add and fill all the required details such as Date, Voucher no. Items, etc.

The stock statements are showing incorrect value of stock at hand. How to troubleshoot this?

 To troubleshoot the stock status report, you need to first identify which part of the data is incorrect: the quantity, the price, or the amount. Then, you can check the following things:
Step 1:Make sure the report date is correct,
Step 2:Make sure the material centre (if any) is correct,
Step 3:Make sure the voucher series group (if any) is correct,
Step 4:If the price is incorrect, you can check which stock valuation method is selected from:
(i) Administration
(ii)Configurations
(iii)Feature/Options
(iv)Inventory.
Step 5:If you find any on enter mismatch in any part, you can fix it by running the update master balance option from the housekeeping tab, make sure to take latest backup of your company before doing that process.

What troubleshooting can I do if the automated stock status numbers look incorrect?

Why am I unable to generate stock reports in BUSY? It says "invalid SSN code".

 If you are unable to generate stock report in BUSY please follow these steps :
Step 1: Make sure you are logged in with superuser
Step 2: If you are logged in with subuser make sure it has appropriate rights to view the report
Step 3: If subuser do not have appropriate rights login with superuser and provide full access to view the report to that subuser
Step 4: After all of this settings go to display menu
Step 5: Then click on stock status and you can generate your stock report
Step 6: If you want you can also check other stock reports such as inventory books and inventory summary etc

The opening stock amount of items is not showing in the stock report, what could be the reasons?

 If the opening amount of your items is not showing in the Stock Report, it could be due to several reasons, such as:
Step 1: If you have multiple financial years, the closing amount of the previous year may not be updated correctly in the opening amount of the current year.
Step 2: If you have a single financial year, you may have entered only the opening quantity and not the opening amount in the item master.
Step 3: When you open the report, the Show Value of Items option may be set to N, which means no value will be displayed.
These are some of the common reasons, but there may be other factors depending on your situation.

The software is showing incorrect stock values for some items. How can I correct the stock quantities and values?

 If you want to change the stock quantities and values for some items, follow these steps.
Step 1. Go to Transactions menu and then click on Stock Journal voucher, and then click on Add button.
Step 2. Now add the stock journal voucher with same material center and select those item which have issue in stock quantity and values.
Step 4. In the Items Generated section, select those items which have 0 or lower stock
Step 5. In the Items Consumed section, select those items which have excess stock.
Step 6. Now click the save button to save the changes and now you can check stock repot it will showing properly.

Correcting inventory discrepancies and voucher reports?

 If you are facing any discrepancy in inventory and report, please follow the given steps
Step 1 Go on display
Step 2 Click on stock report
Step 3 Click on closing stock alphabetical
Step 4 Select here item and the date on which you want to check inventory
Step 5 Now check the physical inventory you have, it both match then it is ok
Step 6 If physical inventory and stock report are not matching then go on transaction
Step 7 Click on physical stock then add
Step 8 Type here voucher number and select date and load items
Step 9 Now enter the physically stock counted and save

One of my stock item balance is not showing in my stock report?

 If your one stock item balance is not reflecting in your stock report please follow these steps to resolved it:
Step 1: Take a backup of your data and afterwards Go to administration menu then click on masters sub menu
Step 2: Now click on item and open the item master from modify or list in which you are unable to see stock balance
Step 3: Now check and make sure do not maintain stock balance option is selected as N and save the changes
Step 4: Now check the stock report again
Step 5: If still not resolved then run update master balances from house keeping menu and open the stock report.

How can I export stock reports from BUSY?

 To export stock reports from BUSY, you can follow these steps: 1. Open BUSY. 2. Go to Display 3. Select the Stock Reports option. 4. Choose the specific stock report you want to export, such as Stock Summary or Stock Ledger. 5. Once the report is displayed on the screen, look for an option to export or save the report. 6. Click on the export option and choose the desired format, such as Excel or PDF. 7. Save the exported stock report to your preferred location on your computer. By following these steps, you can easily export stock reports from BUSY for further analysis or sharing purposes.
