How can i install and configure BUSY agent in the system?
You can install and configure BUSY agent by following below steps:
Step1: Open BUSY software and go to company menu
Step2: Then click on download BUSY agent option and click on ok to download the setup
Step3: After successfully downloading, setup will displayed on the destop and extract the setup from winrar or winzip form
Step4: Then right click on the setup and install it in the same drive where BUSY already installed
Step5: Now open BUSY agent and go to general configuration option and Select database type such as ms access or sql as required
Step6: In case of ms access specify the data directory and in case of sql specify server name, username and password and save the changes
Step7: Then click on backup configuration (local) option and enable create backup on local drive option as Y
Step8: Now specify the path where you want to take a backup on local drive and specify schedule as per your requirement and press on save
Step9:Then click on backup configuration (google drive) option and enable create backup on google drive option as Y
Step10: Afterwards specify the E-mail id for a backup and authorise it and specify schedule and then save the configuration
How frequently are backups taken in BUSY? I want to set up automated periodic backups from BUSY Agent. What is the process?
Backup can be scheduled in BUSY. The frequency of backups can be set according to your preference, such as daily or weekly.
To set up automated periodic backups, follow these steps:
Step 1: Download BUSY Agent from busy.in
Step 2: Install BUSY Agent in the same drive where BUSY is installed.
Step 3: Select General Configuration, and two database types will appear there: MS Access and SQL. Choose the database according to your requirement.
Step 4: If you have MS Access, select the data path. For SQL, add server information and password.
Step 5: Select the Backup Configuration local for local backup, choose the path where you want to take a backup, and select the backup schedule for the timing.
Step 6: Select the Backup Configuration Google Drive for Google Drive backup. Add the email ID in the below section, and you need to authorize the email ID and then configure the backup schedule.
Step 7: Save the configuration successfully.
Note: BUSY Agent must be open in the background for automated backup. You can enable the Add to Startup option for auto-opening BUSY at the time of system startup.
How can I restore backup taken through BUSY Agent? What are the steps?

In case of local drive backup:
Step 1: Open your BUSY
Step 2: Then click on restore data
Step 3: Afterwards specify the path where is your backup stored
Step 4: Then proceed for restoration of backup
Step 5: While restoring data if it is showing overwrite option always try to select it as no otherwise backup will be merged in your existing data
In case of google drive backup:
Step 1: Open your google drive
Step 2: Download the data backup
Step 3: Make sure data backup has 2 files data.zip and disk file so download both files
Step 4: After downloading both files copy those 2 files in folder
Step 5: Afterwards Open your BUSY
Step 6: Then click on restore data
Step 7: Afterwards specify the path where is your backup stored
Step 8: Then proceed for restoration of backup
Step 9: While restoring data if it is showing overwrite option always try to select it as no otherwise backup will be merged in your existing data
What precautions should I take to prevent data loss in case my system crashes or needs reformatting in the future?
The precautions you need to take the backup on regular basis so that if system get crash or lost data then you can easily recover it from the data backup. The best way to take the backup on Google Drive from BUSY Agent.
Pls Follow the Below Steps for Google Drive Backup :
Step 1: Open the BUSY Software
Step 2: Click on Company Menu
Step 3: Download the BUSYAgent
Step 4: Install it in which BUSY is already installed
Step 5: Click on BUSYAgent icon
Step 6: Click on General Configuration
Step 7: Select Database Type - Access or MS SQL, For Access, Mention the Data Directory Path and For MS SQL, Mention the SQL Server Information.
Step 8: For Backup Notification, Specify as per your requirement. Can get through Email or BUSYBNS.
Step 9: Click on Backup configuration of Google Drive
Step 10: Specify the Email Id for authentication.
Step 7: Click on Backup Schedule- Here select the days, financial year and backup time in a day as per your requirement.
Note : Backup on BUSY Agent is only with Active BLS.
How can I take backup on google drive?
For taking backup on gogle drive you have to download BUSY agent for download BUSY agent follow these steps:
step 1: Open web browser and open site busy.in
step 2: After open site go in resources
step 3: Go in download and download BUSY agent
step 4: Install BUSY agent in same drive in which drive BUSY install
step 5: Make sure at the installing all BUSY application should be close
For configure backup on google drive follow these steps:
step 1: open BUSY agent go in general configuration
step 2: Select data base type and if data base access mention data path in data directory
step 3: Save configuration then go in backup configuration google drive
step 4: Create backup on google drive y and mention gmail id in specify e-mail id for backup
step 5: Click on authorise open it will open web browser automatic
step 6: If mail id open show BUSY agent want accees to your google account
step 7: Click on continue open BUSY agent show authorization successfull click ok
step 8: Click on backup schedule select days and number of backup in a day
step 9: Mention time of backups and save configuration
How do I set up automatic cloud syncing in BUSY? It seems to not be working for me.
If you want to set automatic cloud syncing you have to install BUSY agent in system then you need to follow some steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY Agent and click on General configuration.
Step 2: check Email setting if you get notification on email.Email sending configuration should be correct and click on Check Email Setting option and if you face error 114 then you need to generate app password from Google Account setting.

Step 3: After download and install it at the location where BUSY has installed.
Step 4: Now open BUSY agent and then click on General Configuratin option.

Step 1: Open BUSY software

Step 4: Specify path for Downloading the BUSY agent setup file and press OK to start downloading. It will take few minutes to download
Step 5: Afetrward,Click on Setup file of BUSY agent and install it by clicking on NEXT and then INSTALL option
Step 6: After successful installation, BUSYAGENT window open on your system
Step 7: Click on General Configuration
Step 8: Specify the DATA DIRECTORY in which your real-time data is currently running.
Step 9: Save the configuration by clicking on save button
Step 10: Click on Backup Configuration (LOCAL) option, if you want to take backup in local drive automatically and configure it as per your requirement
Step 11: Click on Backup Configuration on GOOGLE DRIVE, if you want to take backup in google drive automatically and configure it as per your requirement
