Generate Gmail app password for BUSY two-factor auth?

To generate a Gmail app password for use with BUSY when enabling two-factor authentication (2FA), follow these steps:
Step 1 : To set up 2FA for your Google account linked to BUSY, you would typically use one of the following methods:
Step 2 : Go to your Google Account settings by visiting https://myaccount.google.com/.
Step 3 : Click on Security or Sign-in & security.
Step 4 : Locate the Two-step verification or Two-factor authentication section and click Turn on or Get started.
Step 5 :Follow the on-screen instructions to set up 2FA using one of the available methods.
Please note that Google's security features and settings may have evolved since my last knowledge update in September 2021, so it's essential to refer to Google's official documentation or support resources for the most up-to-date information on setting up two-factor authentication for your Google account.

How to configure Email in BUSY?

Steps to configure email in BUSY.
Step 1: Go to administration menu and select configuration option.
Step 2: In configuration option select email configuration.
Step 3: From email configuration option select send directly option from email sending options.
Step 4: In next step in report sending select pdf option.
Step 5: In server configuration option mention smtp server name as smtp.gmail.com if have gmail id.
Step 6: Then mention email id and app password in it.
Step 7: After that metion from name and reply to id.
Steps to generate the app password in BUSY.
Step:1 Login your mail id.
Step:2 Select the manage your google account.
Step:3 Select the security option.
Step:4 Navigate to 2 step verification and turn on it.
Step:5 Then drag your cursor to the bottom and generate app password.
Step:6 Copy that password and mention in email configuration in the BUSY and click on test account setting to test email configuration.

I am getting errors while composing mails in BUSY. What could be the reason?

If you are facing issues with sending email through BUSY then check the following steps
Step 1. Go to Administration Menu and then click on Configuration
Step 2. Now click on Email configuration.
Step 3. Verify that the server name is correctly set as smtp.gmail.com. If you are using
Gmail Account if you are using gmail account.
Step 4. Also verify that two step factor authenticaiton is enabled in your Gmail account.
Step 5. Alternatively you can generate a new App specific password in your gmail
account and input it into the
password field in BUSY.
Step 6. Check your antivirus, firewall, or Windows Defender, as they might be blocking
your account.
Step 7. Ensure you have an active and stable internet connection.
Step 8. Exclude BUSY21.exe files from antivirus.
Step 9. Exclude BUSYwin folder from antivirus.

Step 1 :Verify that you have entered the correct SMTP server hostname or domain name in the email settings of BUSY.
Step 2 : f you are encountering difficulties resolving the SMTP server's hostname, consider using the SMTP server's IP address instead.
Step 3 : Ensure that your computer's DNS (Domain Name System) configuration is correct. Your computer should be able to resolve domain names to IP addresses.
Step 4 :Verify that your computer has an active and stable internet connection
Step 5 : Check if your computer's firewall or security software is blocking DNS queries or network traffic

Why aren't my invoices being emailed automatically from BUSY?

If BUSY doesn't email invoice automatically, then you can try these steps:
Step 1: First check the Email Configuration from the Administration menu then click on Configuration.
Step 2: Ensure that all the details is correctly mentioned such as SMTP server, Username, Password, etc.
Step 3: Click on Test Account Settings and check if the test mail sending or not.
Step 4: Check the antivirus setting and make sure it is not blocking the BUSY application to access the internet connection.
Step 5: Make sure to run BUSY as an administrator mode to avoid any permission issue.
