What steps should I follow if I am unable to send direct emails from BUSY?
If you are unbale to send any email from BUSY then follow the steps to fix this issue.
Step 1. Go to Administration Menu
Step 2. Then click on Configuration
Step 3. Now click on Email configuration
Step 4. Verify that the server name is correctly set as smtp.gmail.com. If you are using Gmail Account
Step 5. Also verify that two step factor authenticaiton is enabled in your Gmail account.
Step 6. Alternatively you can generate a new App specific password in your gmail account and input it into the
password field in BUSY.
Step 7. Check your antivirus, firewall, or Windows Defender, as they might be blocking your account.
Step 8. Ensure you have an active and stable internet connection.
Step 9. Exclude BUSY21.exe files from antivirus.
Step 10. Exclude BUSYwin folder from antivirus.
Why am I unable to directly email an invoice to customers from BUSY?

If you are facing issues while sending email from BUSY, please check the following points:
1. Make sure your internet connection is working properly.
2. Verify that the username mentioned in the Email Configuration in BUSY is correct.
3. If you encounter error code 114, check the password mentioned in the email configuration.
4. Ensure that BUSY is excluded from your antivirus and is not blocked by the Windows Firewall.
5. If you receive error code 3, review the SMTP server mentioned in the email configuration and correct it according to your email ID.
6. If you encounter error code 4, check the port mentioned in the Port field of the email configuration and correct it according to the SMTP server information.
In BUSY, you can only send emails; there is no provision available to receive emails
How to Enable and configure email options for invoices in BUSY?
To configure email options for invoices in BUSY, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Verify that your organization is using the Standard or Enterprise edition of BUSY.
Step 2: Navigate to the Administration Menu-then Configuration-then Email Configuration to Configure Email configuration.
Step 3: Now Navigate to the Administration Menu-then Configuration-then Voucher Series Configuration.
Step 4: Select the specific voucher type for which you want to configure email invoices.
Step 5: Select the desired voucher series related to the chosen voucher type and Click on Voucher Configuration
Step 6: Under the Voucher Configuration settings, locate the option to "Sent Email after saving." and Enable this option to trigger email notifications for the voucher series.
Step 7: Next, specify the format in which you want to send the invoices via email.
Step 8: Save Voucher Configuration.
Can I email e-invoices directly from BUSY without printing them?
To send e-invoice from BUSY,you must save e-invoice pdf in your system after generation of e-invoice through BUSY.
You can email e-invoice generated from BUSY with invoice by following these steps
1.Go to transactions and select the voucher for which e-invoice is generated
2.Open the voucher and then select EMAIL on the top of voucher or you can use shortcut ALT plus M and select send email then proceed by selecting format of invoice
3.After selecting send email,your invoice will be automatically attached but for e-invoice,you must save e-invoice downloaded from portal through BUSY and select the same in external attachment by selecting from local drive
4.Enter the recveiver's email id or if mentioned in party master,it will pick automatically
5.Click on send
6.Now email will be sent including invoice as well as e-invocie attachment which was saved in your local drive
I am unable to send emails from BUSY and it shows an error. How can I resolve this?
If unable to send emails from BUSY, then you can try these steps:
Step 1: First check the Email Configuration from the Administration menu then click on Configuration.
Step 2: Ensure that all the details is correctly mentioned such as SMTP server, Username, Password, etc.
Step 3: Click on Test Account Settings and check if the test mail sending or not.
Step 4: Check the antivirus setting and make sure it is not blocking the BUSY application to access the internet connection.
Step 5: Make sure to run BUSY as an administrator mode to avoid any permission issue.
Step 6: Ensure that the internet connection is stable.

Troubleshooting steps if the app password generated for BUSY is not pasting?
If having issue in pasting the app password in BUSY then please follow the given steps
Step 1: To check please try to paste in the notepad. if it is pasting then password is
Copied.
Step 2: If not pasting in notepad means it is not copied or some problem with mouse or
keyboard
Step 3: Change the keyboard or mouse then check for copy and paste with BUSY and
anouther application
Step 4: If not pasting in other application then show to the It person if having problem
with BUSY only then further
