If you encounter an Invalid Party GSTIN error during E-way Bill generation, validate the party GSTIN to verify its status. This issue primarily occurs if the GSTIN is cancelled or if there is an incorrect GSTIN mentioned in the party master.
How can I register or create an account on the E-way Bill portal?
To Register on e way bill portal you need to go to e way bill portal and click on registeration and then enter your GSTIN and capcha and enter all the required detais whatever portal is required and regiser your self
Where can I find the e-way bill option in the administration settings?
To find e-way bill option in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu click on configuration
Step 2: Features and Options go to GST and VAT tab and enable e-way configuration click on ok and save button.
Why is the party name not reflecting in the generated e-way bill?
The party name may not appear in the e way bill if you have chosen Alias and Print Name in Account to be Shown By field during the e way bill generation, and these fields are empty in the party master.
How can I get invoice and e-way bill reports from your software?
To get e way bill and invoice reports:
Step 1 : Click on transaction
Step 2 : Select voucher type
Step 3 : Open list and check invoice
Step 4 : GST misc utilities
Step 5 : E-way bill management
Step 6 : CHeck report as needed
What is the distance between pincodes I need to update to ? Where can I find and update this?
To update the distance between pincodes to 0 in BUSY, you can find and update it in the E-Bill generation window. Make sure to enter the correct source and destination pincodes, and the software will automatically calculate the distance for you.
Why am I unable to modify or edit bills that are more than hours old in BUSY?
Once generated, the bill (E-Way,E-Invoice) cannot be edited or modified. Only Part-B can be updated. However, if the (E-WAY,E-INVOICE) bill is generated with incorrect information, it can be canceled and generated again. Cancellation must be made within 24 hours of generation
How do I correct a mistake in an invoice after it has been submitted to the portal?
You cannot correct the mistake in E way bill after generating it from BUSY and submitted to portal. You have to cancel it and the voucher by clicking on Cancel button or pressing Ctrl+X. Then you can generate a new one.
Generating the E-Way Bill is taking time. How long does it normally take to get validated?
