The GST summary and my books are showing different amounts after a particular transaction related to "Lactis sponge". What could be wrong with how this transaction was recorded?

IF GST summary and books are showing different amounts after a particular transaction
then please follow the given steps
Step 1: Make sure you have applied tax type as per sale type you selected.
Step 2: Make sure you have selected GST nature as registered if it is journal entery.
Step 3: Make sure you have enter the amount in the register expese window which open
on saving the journal voucher with registered expense gst nature.
Step 4: If still same problem persisting then go to housekeeping menu then select
update voucher gst summary then select partial and then enter stard date
and end date then Ok.

I am facing issues with my GST returns where the purchase amount is showing a lower value than the actual purchase bills. What could be causing this mismatch?

I need purchases to show in the month when the invoice is received, not when I enter the voucher. What setting controls this?

If you want to show the purchase in GST report in the month when the invoice is received , you can specify the purchase bill date in Purchase voucher by follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company and go to Transaction menu.
Step 2: Select Purchase and click on Add.
Step 3: Enter all the necessary details such as Date, Vch No., Party, Item, etc.
Step 4: Before saving the invoice, a window for GST report basis will appear. In this window, you can update the actual purchase bill number and date of the invoices received before proceeding to save the invoice.
Step 5: Now, You can open the GST report with purchase bill date.

I am unable to find the report showing breakup of CGST, SGST and IGST in BUSY. How can I get this report?

To find the report showing breakup of CGST, SGST and IGST in BUSY, you can follow the below steps:
For this you can check GST report to verify the details of the taxes,
Step 1: Go to Display, then select GST Reports, then select GST Registers,
Step 2: then select Supply Outward Register, then select All party,
Step 3: then select correct date range, and then select the relevant information and then press F2 or OK,
Step 4: These reports will provide party-wise and invoice-wise details of CGST, SGST, and IGST applied.
Step 5: You can cross-check if the taxes were applied correctly by reviewing this report.

I am unable to find the option to register and submit an ITC claim. Where can I access this in BUSY?

To Find register or claim an Input Tax Credit (ITC) in BUSY, Please follow below steps : 
Step 1 : Go to the administration menu, then select Configuration and navigate to Features/Options. Choose the GST/VAT tab.
Step 2 : Under GST Configuration, find the ITC Tagging Requirement option and enable it.
Step 3 : Head back to the administration menu and select GST Misc. Utility.
Step 4 : Download the Json data for GSTR 2A/2B.
Step 5 : Once the data is downloaded, choose Monthly ITC Tagging based on GSTR 2A/2B.
Step 6 : Now, you can tag and claim your Input Tax Credit (ITC).

How do I enter payment and adjustment entries for the different tax amounts like CGST, SGST etc in BUSY?

To make adjustment of input and output of CGS, SGST and IGST then payment of GST in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then, go to the Display tab and click on GST Reports.
Step 2: Choose GST Summaries and open GST Summary.
Step 3: Enter the date range for the report. You should do GST adjustment on a monthly basis.
Step 4: Verifty that all the data showing in this report is correct.
Step 5: Press F4 and select Input/Output Adjustment option. Save the voucher.
Step 6: Again press F4 to cross adjustement if needed. Then can make payment of GST by press F4.

BUSY is not allowing me to enter invoices prior to GST implementation. How can I enter old invoices?

If BUSY is not allowing you to enter invoices prior to GST implementation, you need to follow the below steps:
Step 1: Ensure that the in GST/VAT configuration has the created deafult GST master; make sure tax category and sales type are created.
Step 2: Go to Transactions, then select voucher, then select Modify.
Step 3: then put the voucher number for which you have selected the wrong GST rate for a transaction, then press OK and F2 to load the voucher.
Step 4: Make the changes to the invoices entered prior to GST implementation. For this, you have to check the sales type, bill number, and item tax rate as per the GST implementation.

Can you check if the sales amounts in GSTR B match the amounts in the P&L for October and March? There seems to be a discrepancy.

If you are experiencing discrepancies in the sale data displayed in the Profit and Loss statement and the GSTR3B report for the months of October and March in your BUSY software, you can follow these steps to fix it:
Step 1: Go to the Display menu.
Step 2: Click on the GST Report option.
Step 3: Select the GST Audit report and then click on the Reconcile Account and GST option.
Step 4: Define the date range for the month in which you are facing the issue.
You will be able to see the differences between the amounts displayed. After opening the voucher, you can cross-verify the data and find the reason behind the discrepancy.

I am unable to match the sales totals between my summary and detailed sales reports in BUSY. What could be the potential reasons for this?
